- What documents are required to send a parcel internationally?
- An invoice is required stating the value and description of the goods as well as the sender's ID number. An exporter's license code is required for neighbouring countries or shipments above R47 000.00.
- Where can I get an exporter's code?
- You will need to apply for this at your nearest SARS branch.
- Are customs charges included in my quote?
- No. Customs charges are billed by the receiving customs and payable by the receiver. They are not included in our quotations.

- You can send your tracking request to quotes@thecourierguy.co.za who will provide you with the current status on your shipment.
- Can you collect my parcel and package it for me?
- All shipments must be packaged by the sender before collection can take place.
- Can I take insurance on glass or ceramic items being sent Internationally?
- No. Unfortunately The Courier Guy cannot be held liable for any damage to glass or ceramic items.
- What is your transit time on international shipments.?
- The transit times differ from country to country. On average, however, we anticipate 5-7 business days excluding the day of collection (pending customs and flight delays.)

- Each international shipment must go through a formal clearance process in the receiving country by customs before it can be released to us for delivery. Customs will not release a shipment for delivery if the receiver has not paid the VAT and duties due on the shipment.
